BACKGROUND
WeatherWear, is a promising weather app. Weather apps initially struggle with outdated designs and lack integrated features that provide tailored clothing recommendations and real-time traffic updates. The market demanded more than just raw data; users wanted actionable, personalized information to bridge the gap between weather and wardrobe, making WeatherWear's potential clear.
RESEARCH
AFFINITY MAP
I created an affinity map to understand user expectations and preferences. It helped organize insights on desired features, functionality, assessability, affordability, localized information, collaboration opportunities, overall user experience, challenges, considerations, as well as feedback and improvement areas. This method allowed me to gain a comprehensive view of user needs and insights, guiding the design process to create a more user-centered and effective weather app.

USER PERSONAS
I developed these user personas as a vital part of my design process to better understand and empathize with the diverse needs and preferences of potential users. By creating detailed profiles for Business Brad, Adventurous Alex, Stylish Sarah, and Mother Melissa, I aimed to represent a range of users with distinct lifestyles, occupations, and priorities. These personas serve as valuable tools to guide the design decisions, ensuring the weather app caters to various user requirements effectively.

MoScoW ANALYSIS
I created a MoSCoW analysis before designing to identity key features and functions essential for the app‘s success.
